What is Delta Sigma Pi?
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional co-ed business fraternity open exclusively to Economics and Management & Business Economics majors. Our fraternity is dedicated to professional development, community service, and fostering lifelong brotherhood, providing members with valuable networking opportunities, leadership experiences, and personal growth.
What is recruitment?
Recruitment is a week-long series of events where our chapter gets the opportunity to meet potential members who are interested in joining Delta Sigma Pi. Throughout the week, attendees will learn more about our fraternity, its values, and the opportunities it offers. It’s also a chance to connect with active brothers and experience the culture of our chapter firsthand.

Are the events mandatory?
Recruitment events are not mandatory, but they are highly encouraged. Attending these events allows potential new members to learn more about our chapter and experience what it means to be part of Delta Sigma Pi. It also gives our chapter the opportunity to see your enthusiasm and interest in joining the fraternity.
What are the requirements to join?
Delta Sigma Pi, is exlcusive to Economics and Managanent Business Economics majors, potential members must also have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher, per the University of California Merced guidelines.
What is the pledge process?
The pledging process lasts four to five weeks, during which pledges attend weekly meetings led by our Vice President of Pledge Education. These meetings provide an opportunity to learn more about Delta Sigma Pi, engage in discussions about our values, and understand what it means to be a brother. Additionally, pledges will participate in chapter events to further immerse themselves in the fraternity.
